Wenatchee World: Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra continues sold out, diverse shows

In the 1961 movie musical, “West Side Story,” two star-crossed lovers, Tony and Maria, fall in love between rival gangs in a story based on William Shakespeare’s tragedy “Romeo and Juliet.” The Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra performs a suite of numbers from the soundtrack music composed by Leonard Bernstein.

“Anthem” is the fourth and final concert in the symphony’s 2023-2024 season. Showtime is at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Numerica Performing Arts Center, 123 N. Wenatchee Ave., Wenatchee. Tickets are $20-$60 online at numericapac.com. The event is live streamed online for $25/ticket, as well.
